Flights to Resume from Six Key Airports Starting May 14
Scheduled air services from six airports—Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar, and Rajkot—will progressively resume beginning Wednesday, May 14, 2025. These services had been temporarily suspended due to recent military tensions between India and Pakistan.
An update shared on social media noted that operations are being reinstated with careful coordination to ensure safety and efficiency for passengers.
These six airports are among the 32 civilian airports that were reopened on Monday following a temporary shutdown amid the conflict.
Meanwhile, some air carriers have already restarted operations. Services to Srinagar and Jammu resumed on Tuesday, with additional routes expected to follow soon. Airline representatives confirmed that flights to the remaining reopened airports would be restored in the coming days.
